Security gateways is a software that allows you to create subaccounts based on your master Amazon S3 account and provide other users within your organization with online storage accounts.
Using security gateway the users are provided with username and passwords and they don’t have to deal with the complexity of security and access keys.
With Security Gateway you can setup storage accounts for your company employees or for your customers so that they can backup their data to a single storage account that you manage.

Technical summary
Security Gateway works as a web service and requires Internet Information Service to operate. User connects to a Security Gateways endpoint rather than to Amazon S3 directly. Security Gateway comes with a control panel that offers user management.
